The Gallery
Meet Eric. He is going to be a minister in June and works with the singles
group at his church. Last month his fabulous wife Laura called me and wanted to surprise
him with a makeover for his 40th birthday. We started out with his closet, removing
items that had been in there for more than 10 years! He also had too many of the same
things, what I like to call comfort clothes.
Next we looked at the colors that worked well for him and avoid the ones
that didn't. Our shopping trip was fun! Laura took pictures every step of the way.
Our stylist Jessica gave him a great cut that he can maintain and Al the barber cleaned
the hair off his face! Ten shopping hours later, Eric has a new look from head to toe.
Red was a color he used to avoid, but it looks great on him!

Meet Sandy. She just turned 40 and decided that as a reward for her upcoming
promotion, she would give her look a lift. She hadn't shopped in about ten years!
We picked out new frames, a new haircut, a new wardrobe, a little makeup and a
new outlook on how to spoil herself. She's showing off that great petite shape of
hers! Her daughter says we have created a monster,in a good way. She's getting
highlights next week~

Meet Tony. He is a twenty-something aspiring actor that lives in the
Washington area. Tony needed to have a picture taken for his comp
card. So we got together and after doing his color analysis, set to pick
out a great suit. Viva la difference!

Meet Ryan. He is an all around business guy who wanted to
update his look. He's single too!

Meet Sarah.. She is a belly dancer and professional photographer.
She wanted a beautiful look for her own shoot so I focused on her
eyes. Notice how they are accentuated in the second picture. The
red lips are Sarah's addition to the palette. She says "It's a belly
dancer thing!"
Meet Michele, a former realtor, she was transitioning from one career
to another. She had a wardrobe that had so many clothes in it she didn't
know what to wear. We went through and determined what she loved and
we made a decision that she would have give away some things and consign
some others. The result, a wardrobe that works for her!
This is an example of a closet out of control. The first thing we did was
go through and get rid of clothes that were no longer being worn. Next,
we bought plastic containers to store tracksuits that were too heavy for
the hangers. Clothes should never be stored in the plastic from the dry
cleaners! Take the plastic off so that the chemicals can air out. The
shoes were stored by pairs on the racks. Finally, we replaced all wire
hangers and plastic hangers with wooden ones that help the clothes keep
their shape without leaving imprints in them. Voila! A functional closet is born.
And this is my master piece. It's Me!!! This is me at 21,
with my first daughter and this is me today! If I can do it for me, I can do it for you.
